My Journey
Before heading to a beach rental with my family, I knew the house wouldn't have enough beach towels for all of us. In my search, I wanted a towel large enough to lay on at the beach, yet compact enough to make packing easier than a traditional beach towel, and not so small that it couldn't even dry me off.
I found one that fit the bill perfectly! It not only went with me to our beach rental but also on two aviation camping trips, a truck camping trip, and a cruise where we enjoyed snorkeling and scuba diving. I imagine we'll be getting a few more for our liveaboard sailboat...
Why I Like It
This microfiber beach towel works perfectly for several reasons. First, it's truly a beach towel in every sense—at 78" x 35", it's large enough to lay my whole body on (I'm 5'4") with room to spare. Despite its generous size, it packs down remarkably small, especially compared to a traditional beach towel, making it easy to fit into my luggage without taking up much space. And while it's not magic, it does dry significantly faster than a traditional beach towel, which is a huge plus when I need to bring a towel on my travels. These features make it an indispensable part of my gear whenever I need to take a towel with me.
